Summary: Daniel Cody Arvin, with others, knowingly devised a scheme to obtain indemnity payments from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Risk Management Agency (USDA/RMA) for which he was not entitled. Mr. Arvin pleaded guilty to and was convicted of Conspiracy to Violate the Laws of the United States and was sentenced to seven (7) months in prison, three (3) years’ probation, and required to pay restitution to USDA/RMA and the private insurance company.
